Fantastic for Personal Study

Firstly, Ill say, I am a non-bible school housewife who had no idea how to study the bible. I think this app is fantastic because I am able to do:

1) word studies- you can look up a word in its context within a verse and find the translation in Hebrew or Greek. This is helpful to me because it expands upon the word, giving me a deeper meaning and insight. For example, the word "abide" in the passage about abiding in the vine means also to remain, tarry, dwell, continue in etc. This is the main reason I use this app.

2.) Use as a journaling bible. I like that you can highlight scripture and that you can add a note to scripture too. You can write your studies, insights, thoughts or questions.

3.) You can use it as a reference or topical study. So if I type in the word "love" it comes up with the verses that have this word in them. It also gives you the option of using commentaries (summary of a passage of meaning from someone who is a biblical scholar and who has studied the text and history) or other biblical study books on that topic.

This app does unfortunately have glitches from time to time as most apps do...but Ive had this app for 3+ years and enjoy it. It allows me to do personal studies where I wouldnt know how otherwise.

Also, I believe you can access it on multiple devices. My husband bought it as a requirement for bible school and I am able to use it in my phone.
