Logos: Deep Bible Study App Reviews

Great for bible studies, once you get used to it, you can do quick word studies and search commentaries.

I can read and study the bible anywhere I go, on devises a have with me anyway. I love that I can read from several different version of the bible and that I have the ability to make notes too. Its a great tool for those of us who dont have scripture memorized, I can pull out my app type in a few key words and the verse Im looking for usually appears in the list.

Every update is a significant improvement where they show that they are truly paying attention to comments and also always looking to keep their app fresh and useful.

This app is not great at all. There are not a lot of user friendly features and they are not intuitive. There are times where I find myself wanting access to something fast but unable to find what I am looking for. One major frustration is that it does not work offline. I have downloaded Bibles and when I try and access them offline, I cannot see anything beyond what I had recently read. It has been really frustrating.

I have been a Logos user almost from the beginning. Being isolated in southwest NovaScotia I have never been able to take advantage of Training Sessions. The Logos material on tube have kept me up to date, made my studies profitable and have encouraged me when faced with ever more useful ways of finding the truth.

I use it more than my Mac version. I use it for preaching live and teaching. Ive projected the screen and used the highlighting functions to make points as I speak.

Still deeply appreciate this ministry study tool. I love this Bible software - makes me wish I was starting all over again in the ministry ( with all the 40 + years of experience!!!!!)

The title says it all. Great tool linking to online resources. It might not be the computer interface ideally desired, but practical and functional like reading one book at a time. There are some limits, but we are talking mobile computing so customer needs to be realistic.

I have a few Bible apps, but this one is most comprehensive especially if you own their massive library in your PC. Synching is very smooth, and I am very happy that I can use the app offline. However, even if you own their library, due to some licensing issues, certain books (and really good ones) are still not available on this app. But I am sure that people at Logos are working hard every day to make everything as good as possible. I really appreciate their hard work and effort.

thank you for this... so easy to use. the reference verse tab is a genius. although im not sure if this is a bug or what, but the search engine doesnt work if i dont have an internet connection. other than that, u really live this app. thanks

Having the mobile app gives me the freedom to carry this powerful software with me out of the office and use it in various ways. I still have a lot to learn about its versatility, but I am looking forward to the task.

Wonderful app to everyone who are blessed with Greek exegetical skills to be as faithful to the Scriptures as possible on mobile. Here in metro Tokyo, this app works great in a crowded commuter train ride. This way I can secure three hours every weekday for my study. This app really is a blessing from God to me. Thankful to the maker.
